Scaling & Polishing
Scaling and polishing is the process of removing or eliminating agents like dental plaque and calculus (yellow or brown deposits on teeth) using an ultrasonic scaler.
Laser Whitening and Bleaching
Bleaching is an advanced method for lightening the current shade of your teeth to a lighter shade. A whitening peroxide gel is applied to your teeth in the clinic. The entire procedure can be completed in less than 45 minutes.
Deep Gum Cleaning
Root planning and curettage/ Flap or deep cleaning, as it is commonly known, involves detailed scaling of the root surface to decrease inflammation of the gum tissue. The ultrasonic scaling device removes tartar, plaque, biofilm and dead or diseased tissue from the root surface underneath the gum line.
Filling and Aesthetic Restoration
Tooth restorations are the various ways to repair missing parts of the tooth structure. Tooth structure can be missing due to decay, deterioration of a previously placed restoration, or fracture of a tooth. Fillings are the most common type of dental restoration. Traditionally Teeth were filled with gold and silver amalgam which are currently replaced by tooth-colored plastic materials called composite resin fillings and Glass ionomer cements
Root Canal Therapy
Root canal treatment is the removal of inflammatory and infected pulp to save from complete tooth loss. Pulp is removed and the canal is disinfected. The canal is then filled with an artificial filling material and sealed. A post, which is a prefabricated metal or fiber structure is inserted in cases of major damage to the tooth structure. Crown is placed on the root canal treated tooth structure to provide strength.
Orthodontic braces
Braces and Clear Aligners Braces are used to correct crooked or misaligned teeth, mostly in children between the age group of 12- 16 years, however adults can also get braces for the same treatment. Brackets are placed on teeth and are connected with wires and modules to cause the forces of correction. Simple braces are available in ceramic or metal options. Self-ligating braces are an advanced option. The treatment usually lasts for a period of 1-2 years with monthly appointments for relegation. To get the desired changes, one must continue to wear Retainers (removable/fixed) for a specific period as suggested by the Orthodontist.
Clear Aligners
Clear aligners are a revolutionary new technology for straightening teeth utilizing a series of custom-made clear aligners set. They are made of transparent plastic sheets that fit over the teeth to reposition them. This treatment requires very infrequent visits for orthodontic checkup and its concealing property makes it ideal for adults
Crowns and Veeners
A crown is a complete restoration for the visible portion of the tooth and is sometimes referred to as a "cap". Crowns are typically made from ceramic or zirconia, materials used due to their strength, durability, resistance to staining, ease of color matching and natural appearance. crowns are most commonly used following Root canal treatments and occasionally when fillings are not adequate to restore a tooth
Bridges and Dentures
Bridge consists of multiple crowns joint together and is used to fill space(s) left by permanent tooth loss. A bridge is held in place with support from adjacent natural teeth or implants. It provides overall strength to the affected area and keeps adjoining teeth structure in position and improves the function of chewing
Implants
Dental implant is a titanium screw that is surgically drilled into the bone, allowed to heal and osseointegrate with the bone for natural tooth like stability and durability in the long term. Post-healing a crown/bridge is placed over the implant to give it a natural tooth look and restore function. It is the most advanced solution for replacement of missing teeth.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Surgery performed to remove a decayed, severely damaged or impacted tooth such as non-erupted wisdom tooth. Some extractions can be performed without surgery too. Oral cyst removal, oral cancer detection, skin grafting and cleft lip surgery also can be done. Maxillofacial surgery is the surgical removal of tissue or teeth affected by diseases, injuries or defects that directly affect the jawbone or face function and appearance.
Maxillofacial Prosthetics
Maxillofacial Prosthodontics” or maxillofacial prosthetics is a particular branch of dentistry that treats congenital and acquired defects (e.g. traumatic injuries and cancers) of the head and neck regions including eyes , ears and other areas of the face. Maxillofacial prosthetics collaboratively integrates multiple disciplines including prosthetic dentistry (prosthodontics), head and neck oncology, plastic surgery and other related disciplines.
Veneers
Veneers are thin shells of material that are bonded onto the surface of the teeth, and made from the same material as crowns. Veneers are used for cosmetic restoration of teeth that are worn, discolored, chipped or crooked or to fill spaces between front teeth. Veneers can be used on a single tooth or multiple teeth, matching the existing color of the other teeth, for a complete smile makeover.
Dentures
A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Two types of dentures are available -- complete and partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain. Dentures rest on top of your gums, and the jawbone underneath supports them. You can also opt for implant-supported dentures. These appliances are similar to traditional dentures. But instead of resting atop your gums for support, they attach to dental implants. This offers much more stability compared to conventional dentures.
TMJ and Sleep Medicine
